If you work as a company or sole trader in a plant or facility or employ persons in which exposure to ionising radiation can lead to an effective dose of more than 1 millisievert per calendar year, you must apply for a permit.
In this case, the persons are considered to be occupationally exposed persons.
For activities in connection with the operation of third-party X-ray equipment and sources of interference, you can choose between this authorisation in accordance with Section 25 of the Radiation Protection Act (StrlSchG) and a notification in accordance with Section 26 StrlSchG.
