You can complete the application form online via Service-BW or in writing and send it to the funding authority by email:

• The sponsor of the eligible school applies for funding at the beginning of each calendar year. To provisionally determine the number of students attending school, the application must be accompanied by the number of students attending school at the nursing school at the beginning of the funding period on the basis of the Nursing Professions Act (reference date: 1 January; see 6.7. of the administrative regulation of the Ministry of Social Affairs on funding the provision of necessary classrooms at nursing schools in public and independent sponsorship without hospital affiliation (administrative regulation on school space funding)). Funding is always applied for for a calendar year (authorisation period).
• The funding authority examines the application. Once the application has been approved, the funding authority pays out 70 per cent of the approved amount. 30 per cent of the approved amount is withheld and only paid out in the following year after the proof of use has been checked.
• The funding body submits the proof of use annually by 30 June of the year following the approval period. This must be accompanied by a copy of the statement of account, including attachments, which shows the number of students. Please black out any personal data recognisable in the statement, for example the names of trainees.
• The funding authority will check the proof of utilisation. In the event of an overrun or underrun, the funding will be adjusted in proportion to this overrun or underrun and within the framework of the available budget funds.
