Report environmental damage to the environmental reporting centre of the state government of Baden-Württemberg
The Baden-Württemberg Environmental Reporting Centre is the central contact point where you can report specific environmental damage.
This includes large-scale dumping of waste, building rubble, destruction of biotopes, encroachment on nature and landscape conservation areas, water pollution, spreading of liquid manure on the water's edge, billowing smoke or noise from industrial areas.
The Baden-Württemberg Environmental Reporting Centre receives reports of environmentally damaging incidents and forwards them to the responsible local authorities for processing.
Environmental reports can be submitted via the reporting form in the Baden-Württemberg environmental portal or via the "My Environment" app.
Please take a photo of the environmental damage and attach it to your report.

Procedure
After you have submitted an environmental report via the reporting form or the "My Environment" app, the Environmental Reporting Centre at the Ministry of the Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector BW checks whether the report fulfils the criteria of an environmental report and then forwards the report to the responsible local authority for review and processing.
After the report has been checked, the responsible local authority will provide feedback. The prerequisite for this is the provision of a contact option.
Anonymous reports are also possible, in which case it is unfortunately not possible for the local authorities to inform you of the result of the examination.
Likewise, the local authority may not be able to process the report without a contact option for queries in the event of uncertainties.
Please note that you will not normally receive separate feedback from the local authority for reports of waste deposits. The waste deposits are disposed of promptly after receipt of the report by the responsible waste management companies or building yards.
In the "My Environment" app, you can also view the reports you have submitted in the "Report" section. The respective processing status is also displayed there.
