Academic healthcare professions - applying for recognition of further training
Have you successfully completed a further training programme? Then you are usually authorised to use a further training title, for example a specialist title. Before you are allowed to use such a title, you must have it recognised by the relevant chamber of medical professions.
Responsible authority
- for doctors: the Baden-Württemberg Medical Association
- for dentists: the Baden-Württemberg State Chamber of Dentists
- for pharmacists: the Baden-Württemberg State Chamber of Pharmacists
- for psychological psychotherapists, child and adolescent psychotherapists, child and adolescent psychotherapists and psychotherapists: the Baden-Württemberg State Chamber of Psychotherapists
Note: The chamber to which you belong at the time of application is decisive. You must also submit the application to your health professions chamber in Baden-Württemberg if you have completed a large part of your further training in another federal state or in other federal states.

Procedure
You must apply for recognition in writing. You can obtain the necessary form from the relevant Chamber of Healthcare Professions. Depending on the offer, you can also download it from the Internet.
